You can wear makeup afterwards, but we advise waiting until the following day before applying makeup, as we recommend with all facials

Please wear SPF, a treatment that removes the top layer of dead skin will make your skin more sensitive. Wearing SPF every day is the best aftercare & skincare advice we can give anyone, whether you have had dermaplaning or not!

Avoid heat treatments (sauna, steam room etc) for 24 hours following treatment, your skin may be more prone to irritation directly after dermaplaning than it would normally, so sweating can further increase the irritation

This is because, by removing the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair, you are allowing your skin to increase the amount that it can absorb from topically applied products, making them much more effective
